Here are some pics (courtesy of The Beast is Back) of my Ben 10 piece that I did for the From Hanna-Barbera to Cartoon Network gallery show. It was an honor to be a part of such an amazing show!

Hawkeye and Black Widow Sketch
Work has been keeping me busy but here's a look at the next Avengers' Day Off illustration. I already posted a shot of Hawkeye (via twitter/instagram) awhile back but here's a better look at it. I wanted to combine Hawkeye and Black Widow's day off since I see them spending it together.
Hopefully I can render this soon.

Hulk's Day Off
Finally another one! I know, I know, I took way too long to get to the next in the series, but here it is! Hulk loves to smash even on his day off. He especially loves playing Smash-A-Loki and beating Thor's high score.
Nevermind that the "whac-a-mole" loki dolls look like little construction guys with hard hats on. Ah well...
True story: as kid, after watching the live-action Hulk tv show, I would run around the house growling loudly, "I'm the incredible Huuuuulk!" and then proceed to try and rip my shirt off.

Agent Coulson's Day Off
My personal favorite from the Avengers movie (and all the other marvel
movies/short films he's in), Agent Phil Coulson. Phil loves his
job at S.H.I.E.L.D. so much that, even on his day off, he still goes to work.

Thor's Day Off
Ever wonder what the Avengers do when they're not saving the world? Here's a little glimpse into their day off.

Batman
So I really feel like i'm fighting with my art lately. I'm not enjoying it like I used to and i feel like I spend more time creating vector shapes than anything else. I decided to try a process that was a bit more organic and less "digital," so here's the result! I have to say...I had a blast working on this. I didn't even take the time to sketch anything out, I just dove into Photoshop with some textured brushes and this was what happened. I hope you enjoy it!

The Adventures of Freddy Freeman
With all the talk of the Captain Marvel reboot DC is planning i felt like drawing Captain Marvel Jr. (or is it Shazam Jr. now?). Since i've always loved Freddy's color scheme, i thought i'd take a stab at him, in a more kid-friendly style.

Harvey Birdman
Another 70's cartoon superhero/Adult Swim character, Alex Toth's Birdman. I know Harvey isn't his name from the old series, but it's such a funny first name for him that I had to include it.

Omni-Man
For today's illustration I went with Omni-Man from the Invincible comic by Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley. It's hands down the best comic out there and I have a blast reading each issue (or trade in my case since there are no comic book shops around here). If you haven't read it, I definitely recommend you pick it up!

The Amazing Spider-Man (TV series)
When I was a kid, I remember flipping through the channels and stumbling across the live-action Spider-Man series. Although it wasn't on much (it was just the occasional rerun since it was the 80's) it had a huge impact on me (along with the Hulk tv show). Seeing a real live Spider-Man in action was just amazing. So amazing in fact, that I begged my mom to make me a Spidey costume (which she did!).
So here's my tribute to that slighty weird, not-quite-right, but-no-less-cooler, version of Spider-Man's costume.

Mr. Incredible and Jack-Jack
The Incredibles is by far my favorite Pixar movie and since I've never done any fan art for it I thought I would draw Mr. Incredible and his son Jack-Jack for today's illustration. Enjoy!

Happy New Year and a New Daily Project
First off, Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday season! 2011 was a great year and I have a feeling 2012 is going to be even better.
One thing I'd like to be better at this year is updating this site. I definitely haven't been living up to the title of this blog! Work has been keeping me incredibly busy so i haven't had much time to do any personal work but the good news is that i have a little bit of free time at the moment so i'm going to start another monthly illustration-a-day project for the month of January.
Since yesterday was a holiday and i wanted to spend time with my family, i'll be starting it today. Instead of a theme like March of the Monsters, this time around it's just going to be a random character each day. This way i'll be able to keep it interesting and not get too bored (which happens often). I'm still planning on rendering all of the 30 Rock Characters so i may slip them into this project.
Starting us off today is the invincible Iron Man. Enjoy!
